I offer counselling services to individuals (including children and adolescents), couples and families in Victoria, BC.  I have been in practice for over 20 years and draw on experience from a variety of settings, including Community Mental Health, Employee and Family Assistance Programs and Private Practice.
Clients bring a wide range of concerns, including:

  • conflicted or broken relationships
  • family conflict
  • loss and bereavement
  • depression and anxiety
  • career and vocation
  • trauma past and present

I often meet with people at important transitions of their lives such as:  preparing for marriage, navigating parenting challenges, facing the loss of work or a loved one, and untangling the web of family relationships. 

My focus is to work with people to help them manage and reduce their stress and anxiety over the issue or problem they are facing, to understand their part in it and to work on solutions that create positive change.
I have a special interest in working with adult siblings and their parents, helping them to manage their relationships with one another as well as cope with issues such as eldercare.  I also enjoy working with families who are struggling with the specific challenges that may come with adolescence.
In addition to counselling services, I offer supervision and training for other professionals who work with couples and families.

Office Hours
Appointments are available weekdays, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Wednesday evenings.   My office is conveniently located just outside of Victoria’s downtown core.

Fees and Payment
My fees for counselling and supervision are $120 per hour.
I am a provider for a number of Employee and Family Assistance Plans (EFAP’s).  My services are also covered by several Extended Health Care Plans.  Please contact me or consult with your individual plan to determine if my services will be covered.
